PARENTS  &  EDUCATORS

Whole  School and  family  Mediation  Practice

We invite parents and educators to brainstorm conflict situations they commonly experience with students and with each other.
Actors join participants in applying mediation techniques to discover underlying needs, feelings and solutions
We discuss ways to introduce role play and mediation practice into everyday classroom and family routines.

 teaching  through  a  Power  lens

A power lens is a framework of inquiry that can be applied to any curriculum.
It helps teachers and students to distinguish powers that are innate, such as courage, curiosity and kindness from powers that are fluid such as social, economic, and political.
It can bring new life and relevance to Literature, Writing, Social Studies, Math and Science.
